From combining the longer roasted malts with flaked barley and oats, you get a unique brew that for some reason seem just about perfect for more than one occasion. When it's cold as they seem heavier and more appropriate for cold, or the first one of the day as they're similar to coffee in some ways, or after dark towards the end of the evening to slowly enjoy the last pint of the day. Either way, they're great brews and styles we'll continue experimenting with. For now, we have the Black Swan American Stout, our flagship beer for this style as it has a wide blend dark malts with both flaked barley and oats. The Centaur Oatmeal Stout really focuses on the oat flavors producing a little more creaminess, the Stubborn Moose Dry Stout for those not into so much of caramel malts, and the Vanilla Chocolate Porter, the exotic blend of our offerings.

Black Swan American Stout

Using a variety of different caramel malts, both barley & oat flakes, and a decent balance of hops, giving a remarkably smooth finish and flavor.Named after the unknown black swan, it's a unique rarity of stouts, sure to make an impression and one of our most popular beers during winter.

Centaur Oatmeal Stout

Rich in oatmeal grains and flakes, the Centaur Oatmeal Stout brings out a creaminess like no other. With dark roasted barley, the stout is heavy in flavor with a hint of coffee.

Stubborn Moose Dry Stout

• IBU: 40
• ABV: 5.2%

The classic dry stout but a little stronger, no caramel malts and only barley flakes.
