Two New Beers that Pack a Punch, the King Kong Strong Ale & Merlin Gruit!

The month of June was a time of some experimentation in the brewery, going after both the very strong and psychotropic arena's of beer and they're now decently carbonated and ready to serve!

King Kong
A very strong ale providing copious amounts of courage.
The Specs

• SRM: 7
• IBU: 9
• ​ABV: 11.7%

​A full-bodied ale with a hefty 11.7% ABV. A nice beer to slowly consume as summer turns to fall.

Merlin
You can see the stars with this one, chock full of all sorts special herbs.

• ​ABV: 6.4%

This gruit ale is full of what are called psychotropic herbs, those that can give a different inebriating effect than the standard alcohol. These include small amounts of wormwood, tansy, sage, mandrake root, mugwort, and yarrow.
