This weeks events include Trivia Night and History on Tap!

I don't know if it's the relatively warm weather we've been having, the drastic changes in weather from this fall through now, the New Year kicking in after some holidays, Ice Box days coming up next week already, or a combination of all of the above plus a bunch of other stuff but things seem to be moving blazingly fast lately. Just so you don't miss anything, here's a recap of activities at Loony's this week:

Monday
Sports Backtalk with Boly and Ringer, from around 5-7pm, usually about an hour but starts and ends within those timeframes. Here you can get updated on all the local, state, and national sports activities with a Q&A with the audience at the end of the show. For later in the evening, as Mondays are relatively slower than other days of the week, it's started to become a bit of a karaoke/open mic night, helping from having a smaller, more intimate crowd to play with.

Tuesday
Dart night, great to cheer or heckle your preferred teams.

Wednesday
Trivia night is back! Starting at 7pm with a mystery prize for the winning team. Lots of fun guessing the answers to the new and crazy questions that Kevin comes up with. Every week seems to try out a new direction or two.

Thursday
Always an event not to be missed, this time featuring the nightlife in early Koochiching county, including Whiskey, Women, and Wagers. Organized by the Koochiching County Historical Society, it includes a large display of graphics, stories, and captions, a discussion by Mike Williams, Byrne Johnson, and Ashley LaVigne, with a q&a at the end with the audience. Due to the amazing popularity of this event, there will be two shows, with the Early Bird Show starting at 5:30 and the Late Show starting at 7:30. Hopefully this will be a better fit for both space, parking, and more flexible for people with different schedules.
